Lee LaBine is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for PNC Business Credit. He directly supports the CEO of Business Credit and is responsible for overseeing the Field Exam, Underwriting, Marketing, National Investment and Operations, as well as regulatory and compliance activities.

LaBine joined PNC Business Credit in 2002 as a vice president and relationship manager and has 20+ years of experience in asset based lending and highly leveraged, secured lending transactions with a variety of institutions in Chicago, IL. He began his career as a loan officer for American National Bank & Trust Co. of Chicago.

In 2007, LaBine was promoted to portfolio manager for PNC Business Credit’s Upper Midwest Region, later promoted to senior vice president, and was named a Chairman's Circle Award Winner that same year. Most recently, LaBine managed the Business Credit loan portfolio for both the Upper Midwest and Canada.

LaBine is a graduate of the University of North Dakota and received his MBA from the Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University.

Paula Currie

SVP & Internal Controls Director

PNC Business Credit


Paula Currie is Senior Vice President and Internal Controls Director for PNC Business Credit. She is responsible for managing all aspects of Operations and Field Examination for PNC Business Credit nationwide

Currie also oversees the Field Examination Department for PNC Corporate Banking. Additionally, she has oversight for PNC Business Credit’s Development Program, the foundation level for the organization’s training program. Currie is integral to PNC Business Credit’s talent development program, working to ensure a consistent stream of top talent with a solid foundation in asset based lending.

She joined PNC Business Credit in 1998 and has over 20 years of experience in commercial finance and asset based lending. She has held a number of positions within PNC including Field Examiner, Underwriter, Regional Underwriting Manager and Director of Field Examination.

Currie received her B.S. from St. Joseph’s University and completed post graduate work at the Graduate School of Credit and Financial Management at Dartmouth University.

She is a member of the National Association of Credit Management, the Secured Finance Network, serving as Chairperson for its Women in Secured Finance group in 2020 and 2021, and the Turnaround Management Association and its Network of Women committee.

George G. Cole, Jr.

EVP & Director of Internal Controls

PNC Business Credit


George G. Cole Jr. is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for PNC Business Credit’s Vendor Finance business. He is responsible for coordinating with senior leadership to plan, execute and oversee operations for the Vendor Finance business with direct responsibilities for underwriting, internal controls, technology, and risk management.

Cole joined PNC Business Credit in 2003 and has nearly 30 years of experience in commercial finance and middle market lending. He has previously served as Director of Internal Controls with responsibility for managing all activity for PNC Business Credit’s Underwriting, Field Examination and Operations Groups internationally. Cole began his career with Mellon Bank in the asset-based lending group after successfully completing the bank's credit training program. While at Mellon, he held various senior management positions in field examination, underwriting, business development and relationship management.

Cole received his B.A. in Accounting & Economics from Widener University. He is a participant in the Secured Finance Network and the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association.

Peter J. Mardaga

Peter J. Mardaga is Chief Executive Officer for PNC Business Credit.

He joined The PNC Financial Services Group in 1992 and has been with PNC Business Credit since its formation in 1997. Mardaga has held a number of senior sales, portfolio and managerial positions within PNC Business Credit including Chief Operating Officer and Western Division Executive. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer, Asset-Based Lending Group. Mardaga began his career with First Union Bank. 

He received his B.S. and MBA from Fordham University.

Mardaga is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Secured Finance Network and the Turnaround Management Association.

W. Craig Stillwagon

W. Craig Stillwagon is Executive Vice President and Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of all new business development and portfolio management for the Southeast, PNC Business Credit UK, and the Retail Finance group.

Stillwagon joined PNC Business Credit in 1997. Most recently, he served as Eastern Division Executive. Stillwagon has over 35 years of experience in middle market lending and business development, including experience with Norwest Bank (now Wells Fargo) and CIT Business Credit. He began his career with Marine Midland Bank (now HSBC) in the NYC Midtown Commercial Lending Group after successfully completing the bank's Accelerated Credit Training Program.

Stillwagon received his B.A. from Denison University and completed post graduate work at the University of Nevada.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network.

Brian MacConnell

EVP & CEO, Specialty Products

PNC Business Credit


Brian MacConnell is Executive Vice President and CEO, Specialty Products, for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of PNC Business Credit’s specialty lending products, including Steel City Capital Funding, a provider of cash flow and 2nd lien financing; the Technology Finance group, which leverages the recurring revenue of sponsor-backed software companies; and the Cerberus PNC Senior Loan Fund LLC, a provider of large first-out cash flow financings.

MacConnell joined PNC Business Credit in 1997 as one of its founding members, with responsibility for oversight of the creation of more than $6 billion in new client loans in support of middle market leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations and restructurings. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Eastern Division Executive for PNC Business Credit.

MacConnell received his bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and his MBA from Rutgers University.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Secured Finance Network, and the Turnaround Management Association.

H. John Tyler III

H. John Tyler III is Senior Vice President and Co-Head, Asset-Based Lending Group for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of the Western, Upper Midwest and Southwest regions.

Tyler joined PNC as a senior business development officer in 2002, following PNC’s acquisition of National Bank of Canada’s U.S. asset-based portfolio. He most recently served as Division Executive for PNC Business Credit and has over 25 years of asset-based and leveraged lending experience.  Prior to joining PNC Business Credit, Tyler was a vice president with National Bank of Canada’s asset-based lending division. He began his career with Whitney National Bank in the Credit and Corporate Lending departments. 

Tyler received his B.S. from the University of New Orleans.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network. Tyler has served on the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement and is involved actively with Volunteers of America, the United Way and Literacy Instruction for Texas.

Mark Kiskorna

Mark Kiskorna is Executive Vice President and Co-Head, Asset-Based Lending Group for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for oversight of the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest regions along with the U.K. and Retail businesses.

Kiskorna most recently served as Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He has over 30 years of experience in asset-based and cash flow lending and business development. Kiskorna began his career in the management training program of Northern Trust Bank in Chicago. He has also held various lending positions with Fremont Financial Corp. and FINOVA Capital Corp.

Kiskorna received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network.

Tim Derry

SVP & Division Executive

Tim Derry is Senior Vice President and Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for new business development and portfolio management for the Upper Midwest.

Derry joined PNC in 2012 has nearly 20 years of investment banking, leveraged finance, and senior lending experience. He has held several positions within PNC Business Credit, including Business Development Officer, Senior Originator, Sales Manager and Team Leader. Most recently, Derry served as Sales Manager for the Upper Midwest region. He began his career with JPMorgan Securities.

Derry received his B.A. from the University of Illinois.

He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.

Michael S. Wagner

EVP & Group Head, Vendor Finance
& Channel Finance

Michael S. Wagner is Executive Vice President and Group Head for PNC Business Credit’s Vendor Finance & Channel Finance businesses. He is responsible for executing growth opportunities within the Vendor Finance business, including fully leveraging synergies with Channel Finance to achieve growth objectives.

Wagner joined The PNC Financial Services Group in 1992. Wagner was a regional manager with sales and portfolio responsibilities for the Philadelphia asset based portfolio at PNC Bank. With the formation of PNC Business Credit, his roles included Sales Manager, Regional Portfolio Manager for the middle market, healthcare, and asset based products in the Mid-Atlantic. Wagner also served as Eastern Portfolio Manager and was Region Executive for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. Most recently, he served as Portfolio Manager for Steel City Capital Funding. He began his career in the credit training program at Continental Bank and served as a marketing and portfolio officer for Fidelity Bank.

Wagner received his bachelor’s degree from Drexel University.

He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and served on the National Board of Trustees. Wagner is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and has served in various officer capacities with the Secured Finance Network (formerly the Commercial Finance Association.)

 

Brian Conway

EVP & Division Executive

Brian Conway is Executive Vice President and Division Executive for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for managing all business development and portfolio activities for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions including New York, New Jersey, Boston and the New England region.

Conway joined PNC in 2005 as a relationship manager and subsequently transitioned into a business development officer role for the Northeast. In 2014, he relocated to Dallas after being promoted to Southwest Sales Manager. Conway served in this capacity until 2019, when he was promoted to Southwest Region Manager. His career began at Valley National Bank and spans over 20 years in middle market and asset-based lending. 

Conway received his B.S. in finance with honors from Montclair State University.

He is an active member of various industry organizations including the Association for Corporate Growth, the Turnaround Management Association and the Secured Finance Network.

Michael Bloomenfeld

SVP & Head of National Investment Strategy

Michael Bloomenfeld is SVP & Head of National Investment Strategy for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for the oversight of cross-selling all PNC Bank products and services to current and prospective PNC Business Credit clients as well as Financial Sponsor coverage, marketing and database management for the business division.

Bloomenfeld joined PNC Business Credit in 2002 following PNC’s acquisition of a significant portion of the National Bank of Canada’s U.S. asset-based portfolio. Employed by the National Bank of Canada for over 10 years, he was the group vice president responsible for managing the Eastern U.S. Most recently, Bloomenfeld served as regional marketing manager for PNC Business Credit’s Southeast region.

He received his B.S. with honors from the University of Florida.

Bloomenfeld is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Secured Finance Network.

Graham Barber

Managing Director

Graham Barber is the UK Managing Director of PNC Business Credit. He leads the UK management team and is focused on building long term profitable relationships with both prospective new and existing clients, with private equity and financial sponsor groups, professional advisors and key service providers.

Barber has over 25 years’ experience within the senior secured and asset-based lending arena and was part of the leadership team that founded the business in 2006 prior to it becoming part of PNC in 2010.

Walter B. Hill

EVP, Steel City Capital Funding

Walter B. Hill is Executive Vice President & Group Head of Steel City Capital Funding for PNC Business Credit. He is responsible for Steel City and related first out cash flow offerings through one team focused on providing the best solution for the opportunity based on investment strategy and capital allocation. 

Hill joined PNC in 2002 and has served in several sales and treasury management roles, including business development officer for PNC Business Credit’s Upper Midwest region. He was most recently responsible for key unitranche partnerships through first out offerings.

Hill is the recipient of multiple sales awards, including the Summit and Chairman's Circle awards. He received his B.S. from Penn State University.

Hill is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.

Ankur Gupta

EVP, Technology Finance Group

PNC Business Credit


Ankur Gupta is Executive Vice President and Group Head for PNC Business Credit’s Technology Finance group. He is responsible for oversight of all new business development and portfolio management for the Technology Finance group nationwide.

Gupta joined PNC Business Credit in 2016 and has more than 20 years of industry experience. He most recently served as a senior business development officer at PNC, where he was responsible for originating, screening and structuring asset-based, recurring revenue, and cash flow loans to support private equity and strategic backed transactions. Prior to joining PNC, Gupta was Western Region Team Leader at Antares Capital LP and held roles within the Investment Banking Division at Lehman Brothers.

He received his B.S. from Northwestern University and his MBA, with a concentration in Finance and Accounting, from the University of Chicago.

Carrie Light

SVP & Director of Strategy & Planning

Carrie Light is Senior Vice President & Director of Strategy & Planning for PNC Business Credit. She is responsible for overseeing activities tied to, but not limited to, regulatory affairs, internal reviews, policy and procedure management, operational risk, and compliance. 

Light joined PNC Business Credit in 2015 as a senior relationship manager and has 20 years of industry experience. She most recently served as Strategy and Planning Senior Manager, representing PNC Business Credit during the recent acquisition of BBVA. Light began her career as a credit analyst for FirstMerit Bank. 

She received her B.S. from Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business and her MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Susanna Siskind

SVP & Director of Operations

PNC Business Credit


Susanna Siskind is Senior Vice President and Director of Operations for PNC Business Credit. She is responsible for managing the monitoring, posting and reconciliation of collateral information for all of PNC Business Credit’s borrowers. Siskind also is responsible for technology projects that improve the customer experience and create internal efficiencies. 

She joined PNC Business Credit in 2002 as a senior field examiner. Siskind has held various roles at PNC, including Chicago regional field exam manager and relationship manager for both the Discontinued Exit portfolio (National Bank of Canada acquisition) and the Steel City portfolio. She led the major system conversion of Business Credit’s customer facing and internal loan and collateral monitoring platforms. Siskind began her career at Mellon Bank in the field exam training program.

She received her B.S. from the University of Miami.

Siskind is a member of the Secured Finance Network and received its inaugural 40 Under 40 award in 2016. 

George P. Monastra

SVP of Underwriting & Operations, Vendor Finance

George P. Monastra is Senior Vice President of Underwriting and Operations for PNC Business Credit’s Vendor Finance business.

Monastra joined PNC in 2019, bringing deep expertise in the development, implementation and oversight of automated credit scoring technology, which he now spearheads for Vendor Finance.

Most recently, he served as U.S. Vice President, Business Support, at De Lage Landen Financial Services (DLL) and was responsible for front end activities including application entry, sales support, credit underwriting, booking, funding and vendor services. Monastra spent the majority of his career with DLL, joining the organization as Chief Credit Officer for the Office Equipment business in 1986.

Monastra received his Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and earned his MBA from Drexel University.

Joseph Sum

SVP & National Underwriting Manager

PNC Business Credit


Joseph Sum is Senior Vice President and National Underwriting Manager for PNC Business Credit. He provides analytical and due diligence oversight for the organization's new business transactions in asset based lending, technology, channel and retail finance, priority lending, and Steel City Capital Funding.

Sum joined PNC in 2001 and has over 25 years of lending experience. He has held various leadership roles for large finance companies, including Bank of America Capital Finance, Fleet Capital and Heller Financial. Sum started his career with Ernst & Young as a CPA. 

He received his degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Sum has taught loan underwriting and cash flow analysis courses for the Secured Finance Network.

Joshua Stehlin

SVP & Division Executive

Joshua Stehlin is Senior Vice President and Division Executive. He is responsible for managing all business development and portfolio activities for the Midwest region.

Stehlin joined PNC Business Credit in 2014 and has nearly 20 years of industry experience. Most recently, he served as Midwest Sales Manager. Stehlin began his career at PNC in 2004 in a management training program focused on conducting due diligence and integrating bank acquisition targets. 

He received his B.S. in Management from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Business and graduated magna cum laude with an MBA from the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza School of Business.

Stehlin is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Turnaround Management Association.
